Taylor Griffin is a founding partner of Sulgrave Partners LLC, a strategic communications and business advisory consulting firm serving private equity and distressed company clients.

He is a communications strategist and veteran of the Treasury Department, the White House, a financial services trade association representing Wall Street CEOs and three Presidential campaigns.

Previously, Taylor served as an advisor to the McCain campaign on economic communications and led the crisis communications team for Sarah Palin in Alaska.

Prior to joining the campaign, Taylor served as Senior Vice President for Communications at the Financial Services Forum, a trade association representing the CEOs of 20 of the largest global financial services institutions.

Taylor was also director in the Treasury Department’s Office of Public Affairs where he served as spokesman for economic and tax policy issues. He also previously served as Treasury’s spokesman on enforcement and terrorist financing.

Taylor also worked in communications roles for the 2000 and 2004 Bush Presidential campaigns and served as a regional spokesman for the White House.

Taylor began his career in Washington as deputy press secretary for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Taylor is a native of Wilson, North Carolina, and a graduate of Appalachian State University.
